Displaying an emergency warning triangle shall not apply to a vehicle being stationary on the roadway of a public road …

(i) in a place where the road traffic sign authorises the loading or unloading of goods
(ii) in compliance with a road traffic sign or direction given by a traffic officer
(iii) on account of other traffic and the driver occupies the driving seat of such vehicle
(iv) in the course of events accompanying the carrying out of a State or municipal function
